SLG Gets Fed. Complaint Dismissed With Prejudice

On December 6, 2016, Judge Dean D. Pregerson in the Central District of California granted SLG’s motion to dismiss the complaint filed against Joseph Marchese with prejudice. In the complaint, the plaintiffs alleged that Mr. Marchese should be held personally liable for his involvement in alleged trademark infringement. SLG successfully argued that the complaint against Mr. Marchese had to be dismissed because it violated the doctrine against claim splitting. A copy of the court’s order is available here
