AREAS OF PRACTICE
Our attorneys regularly are called upon to litigate all types of commercial litigation matters, including breaches of contract, partnership disputes, real estate disputes, fraud claims, unfair competition claims, and others.
While other firms often take a routine approach to these matters and litigate cases without much thought, we work with our clients to develop a strategy at the outset of every litigation and make calculated decisions to achieve our desired results. Our philosophy is to be efficient, deliberate and unrelenting in our advocacy.
We have litigated dozens of legal malpractice matters in virtually every area of the law, from tax to real estate; simple conflicts of interest to civil RICO. We have deep knowledge in this specialized area and are very familiar with the applicable statute of limitations and how it is applied, the burden on plaintiffs to prevail in legal malpractice actions, and the defenses available to attorneys who have been accused of malpractice.
Whether it is a “settle and sue” case, an error arising from transactional advice, or any other type of malpractice, we have the experience to successfully navigate our clients through the litigation.
Stalwart Law Group has an active intellectual property practice. Our lawyers have litigated numerous copyright, trademark, trade dress, and similar intellectual property claims. Our copyright experience includes litigation on behalf of a television conglomerate, several well-known apparel companies, a photographer, a furniture designer, and others. We also have litigated trademark and trade dress cases on behalf of high-end watch manufacturers, a venture-backed technology company, a manufacturer of motorcycle stools, and others.
In each of these cases, we have achieved favorable results by working with our clients to develop and implement a strategy that leverages our deep understanding of intellectual property laws with our clients’ business objectives.
Our attorneys have experience litigating all types of employment disputes, including wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, FMLA/CFRA, and whistleblower actions. These cases often include scandalous allegations of misconduct in the workplace and we are careful to work closely with our clients to verify relevant facts, while being sensitive to the parties’ and other witnesses’ reputations.
We have litigated and tried all types of catastrophic injury and other serious personal injury cases, including traumatic brain injury, auto collisions, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and others. Our sophisticated understanding of the medical and other scientific evidence involved in these cases coupled with our extensive trial experience and our drive to take a case all the way to verdict, has resulted in victories for our clients.
At Stalwart Law Group we are passionate about protecting the rights of elders. We have successfully litigated and tried elder abuse cases on behalf of victims of neglect and abuse in nursing homes, assisted living communities and hospitals throughout California. Our in-depth knowledge of the regulations, medicine, and profit structure of these facilities allows us to achieve justice on behalf of our clients.
Our attorneys have litigated elder abuse cases involving wrongful death, bedsores, falls, bone fractures, choking, dehydration, sepsis, elopement, lack of hygiene, failure to follow physician’s orders, and chemical and physical restraints. If you or someone you care about has been a victim of elder abuse let our lawyers give you a voice in your fight for justice.
