Jon Schwalbach

Jon Schwalbach was born in Ventura, California, and raised in Thousand Oaks. He attended Duke University for his undergraduate studies and later earned his law degree from USC Gould School of Law. During his time at USC, Jon was an active member of the Interdisciplinary Law Journal and served as treasurer for the Latino Law Students Association. He also gained valuable experience as a summer intern at Public Counsel, one of the nation’s largest pro bono law firms.

After law school, Jon sought out a broad range of legal experiences, practicing in areas such as business litigation and family law. His desire to become a trial lawyer led him to work as a litigation associate at Reback, McAndrews, Kjar, Warford & Stockalper, where he defended medical and legal malpractice cases. In 2018, Jon joined Kjar, McKenna & Stockalper, where he became a partner. After a decade as a defense lawyer, Jon transitioned to representing plaintiffs in 2021 at El Dabe | Ritter Trial Lawyers, focusing on clients with catastrophic injuries.
