Stalwart Law Groupโs client was sued in New York by a competitor who alleged SLGโs client engaged in unfair competition by hiring away an employee who was subject to a non-compete agreement.ย The competitor, who retained a well-known, international law firm, asked the court to issue a temporary restraining order.ย SLG briefed the relevant issues, attended a hearing and successfully convinced the judge to deny the TRO.ย SLG quickly negotiated a very favorable settlement and the employee was able to continue working for the client.
