Stalwart Law Group’s client was sued in New York by a competitor who alleged SLG’s client engaged in unfair competition by hiring away an employee who was subject to a non-compete agreement. The competitor, who retained a well-known, international law firm, asked the court to issue a temporary restraining order. SLG briefed the relevant issues, attended a hearing and successfully convinced the judge to deny the TRO. SLG quickly negotiated a very favorable settlement and the employee was able to continue working for the client.
