The client previously was represented by another lawyer who completely abandoned him, causing the court to dismiss the client’s lawsuit. When SLG was brought into the case, the firm implemented a strategy to hold the client’s former attorney accountable for his malpractice and, simultaneously, move the court in the underlying action to set aside the dismissal. SLG was successful on both fronts and now is working with its client to prosecute the employment-related claims that previously had been dismissed.
